You will travel by road to Nyerere National Park while enjoying the changing landscapes of rural Tanzania along the way. When you arrive at Selous you will be welcomed at Selous River View Lodge or Selous River Camp located at Rufiji river bank which offers a stunning view from just from your room. After check in check in, enjoy lunch, and have time to relax while taking in the peaceful surroundings. In the late afternoon (3:00 pm), you will go on a boat safari along the Rufiji River till sunset. This unique safari experience allows you to observe hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife from a different perspective. As the day comes to an end, enjoy the stunning African sunset over the river before returning to the lodge).
