Your safari will began with morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam to drive for 4-5 hours to Nyerere National Park, passing through small towns, local villages, and beautiful countryside landscapes that give you a glimpse into daily Tanzanian life. When you arrive at nyerere you will get a warm welcome from the lodge staffs to check in and have a short rest while waiting for your lunch. You will see large pods of hippos, crocodiles basking along the riverbanks, and a variety of bird species.
